The Dinner Table

A surprisingly large percentage of our population are now living in various forms of isolation. Whether it is the financially challenged, the lonely senior, the second-life single, or the ethnic minority, isolated people are all around us. Jesus made friends, did much of his teaching and healing around dinner tables. The early disciples continued the practice, and in that setting, shared the redemptive love, friendship, hope and encouragement of Jesus. At the Dinner Table we have a great, free meal, get to know each other and encourage one another to grow in their relationship with God.
