SACC (School Age Child Care) - Newport School District

This class offers fun, safe and educational care for 5-12 year-olds before school, after school and during school vacations. This group has devotion time in the mornings before going to school, snack time after school and lots of outdoor play. Along with their regular summer activities, they go to the pool weekly and have several field trips in the summer.
$120.00 / week; $27.00 / day – before and after school care.
$75.00 / week; $17.00 / day – before school care only
$85.00 / week; $20.00 / day – after school care only

SCHOOL CLOSINGS/CANCELLATIONS
$4.50 / hour for school delays or early dismissals
$40.50 / full day school cancellation (includes lunch and 2 snacks)

SUMMER RATES
$180.00 / week  or $40.50 / day

Meet the teachers

Ms. Nikita
Ms. Nikita is a part time college student majoring in psychology. She graduated from West Perry in 2023. She is artist of the bunch and always has some fun, new and amazing ideas.
Miss Crystal
Miss. Crystal has been working in the center since 2014. She has volunteered many years in Children’s Ministries, as well as with Bread of Life Outreach. She has 2 grown daughters, 1 son in law, and 2 grandsons. She is known to bake cookies and surprise us with them frequently. 

School Age Child Care (SACC)

Provides before and after school care for the Newport School District. During the summer we welcome Kindergarten through six grade from any school district.
THROUGH THE SCHOOL YEAR
We have partnered with Newport School District to bus children to and from our center, to the Elementary school. No need to worry anymore on how you can safely get your child to school, we are here to help. Our staff allows the children some down time before school where they can play and talk before boarding the bus in the morning. After school the children will be offered a snack and a chance to do any home that they wish to work on. The children will also spend some time outdoors on the playground or playing outdoor games.

DURING THE SUMMER
The summer programs helps to the students to explore what interests them. The teachers guide the students through an exploration of various topics and interests. We participate in a summer reading program though the library as well as checking books out to read while at the center. We spend lots of outdoors exploring natures as well as traveling to other playground with in walking distance.
